Schools in Category: 15000-25000 students
The majority of U.S. colleges and universities have student bodies within the range of 15,000 and 25,000 students; this designation overlaps between larger private schools and smaller public schools, making the opportunities within this larger range plentiful. These school may have a slightly higher student-to-faculty range, possibly making for less of a personal experience between students and their instructors. Furthermore, while these schools may have introductory classes with upwards of 100 students, their upper-level classes almost always have significantly fewer students. Therefore, students at these schools are exposed to different types of learning with many different peers. Schools fitting within this range include NYU, University of Southern California, Boston University, and The University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
