Online SSAT Registration
Online SSAT registration is available for students testing on a national test date or as a flex test administration (testing with an educational consultant, a regional consortium, or an alternate group test date offered by your child's school). Go to the Registration page of the SSAT website to learn how to register for a national test date or a flex test administration. Keep in mind that students may only take one flex test administration a year (August through July). The standard registration fee for the Elementary Level test is $109. The fee for the Middle/Upper Level test is $169.

Registration Deadlines
Regular SSAT registration deadlines typically fall about three weeks before a test date; late SSAT registration deadlines typically fall a few days before a test date. Visit our SSAT Test Dates page to view specific regular and late registration deadlines.

Rush Registration
If a student misses the regular and late registration deadlines, he or she can still register for the SSAT up until 11:59pm (EST) the Wednesday before each test. There is a $59 late fee for registration starting the Sunday three weeks before the test and a $100 rush fee for registration starting the Sunday two weeks before the test (in addition to the regular $169 registration fee).
