Looking for information about SSAT test dates? Look no further! Students taking the SSAT have four options: paper, SSAT at Home, SSAT Flex Test, and Prometric. Read on to learn more about each type of testing and available test dates below. National Paper-Based SSAT Test Dates There are 6 national paper-based SSAT test administrations each year. A student can take a national SSAT test administration as many times as he or she desires. The SSAT test dates for the 2024-2025 school year are provided in the table below. Accommodations for the SSAT provided during the previous testing year expired on July 31, 2024. Students who were approved for accommodations before this date need to reapply and receive approval before registering for tests scheduled on or after August 1, 2024.
SSAT at Home Students taking the Middle or Upper Level SSAT in the U.S. or Canada have the option to take the SSAT at home on their computers. For available home test dates, click here. Prometric Test Centers Students can also take the computer-based SSAT at a test center. Again, this option is only available for the Middle & Upper Level exams. To find test centers and dates in your area, visit the Prometric Scheduler and select "SSAT by The Enrollment Management Association" in the dropdown. Flex Test If a student would like to take the SSAT on a date that is not a national test date, he or she may register for the SSAT flex test. Flex tests are individual or small group administrations of the SSAT offered by approved schools and educational consultants. Some flex tests are open to all registrants, while others are closed. Students can only take a flex test ONCE a year (note that the SSAT year runs from August 1st through July 31st). Students should schedule the test administration with an approved school or educational consultant prior to registering for the flex test. For more information about the flex test option, visit the SSAT website. Related Topics
